Next-gen Apple iPad, iPhone to use multi-tiered haptic technology

Apple has filed 14 new patent applications, which were published by the US Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday. The patents include an advanced new haptics system, a new battery design, a new camera feature, and some modifications to the Mac mini and high-speed cables.

Smithsonian to display Steve Jobs patent collection in exhibit at National Mall

The Smithsonian Institution is getting an exhibit ready that will highlight some of the many patents and products that Steve Jobs is responsible for. Judge Alsup rejects Oracle patent reinstatement
