Excentus Sues QuikTrip, Others for Patent Infringement

DALLAS — Excentus Corp. has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri against QuikTrip Corp. , Midax Inc. and several companies that operate Price Chopper grocery stores, alleging patent and trademark infringement.

Smithsonian to display Steve Jobs patent collection in exhibit at National Mall

Acetylon receives U.S. patent for ACY-1215 to treat multiple myeloma

Acetylon Pharmaceuticals Inc. today announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent 8,148,526 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office . This patent contains fundamental composition of matter claims covering the Company's selective HDAC6 inhibitor, ACY-1215, which is currently being investigated in human clinical trials for the treatment of multiple myeloma.

Apple wins long-awaited iTunes Store patent

Apple has been granted a patent for its iTunes Store interface, almost eight years after the company filed the application in 2004.
