Area company grows via acquisition

Emergency Communications Network LLC, a provider of high-speed, mass notification services whose headquarters offices are at Ormond Beach Airport Business Park, has acquired a Bloomington, Minn.-based business, called CityWatch Notification Services from Avtex, a provider of integrated, interactive solutions.

Next-gen Apple iPad, iPhone to use multi-tiered haptic technology
