New procedures regarding account inactivity

Inactive ChangeDetect user accounts and web page monitors are now subject to suspension and eventual deletion.

ChangeDetect automatically suspends user accounts and web page monitors after six (6) months of inactivity.

In order to avoid the automated account suspension process, ChangeDetect users must perform any one of the following "account renewal actions" at least once every six (6) months:

If none of the above actions occur in a consecutive six (6) month period, then the system automatically sends a "renewal notice" to the email address on file.

If no action is taken in response to the "renewal notice", then the ChangeDetect account and associated web page monitors are suspended.

Suspended ChangeDetect user accounts and web page monitors will remain suspended for one (1) month. After which time, suspended accounts are deleted.

To prevent account and/or web page monitor deletion, inactive and suspended ChangeDetect users need to perform any one of the four "account renewal actions" mentioned above.

Keep in mind that the new procedures for inactive accounts do not apply to ChangeDetect Pro (paid) members. This is because paid membership are by definition "always active".

If you have any questions about this new procedure for processing inactive accounts, please contact us.
